THE EXCHANGE MADE AT THE CROSS

Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven.

Jesus was wounded that we might be healed.

Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with His righteousness.

Jesus died our death that we might receive His life.

Jesus was made a curse on the cross that we might enter into the blessings of Abraham whom God blessed with all things.

Jesus endured our poverty that we might share His abundance.

2 corinthians 2 8 9

Jesus bore our shame that we might share His glory.

Jesus endured our rejection that we might have His acceptance with the Father.

Jesus was cut off by death that we might be joined to God eternally.

By taking our place on the Cross, Jesus purchased for us eternal life and fellowship with the Father. He exchanged death for life, health for sickness, blessings for curses and eternal life for eternal death, for us.

  1. An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a co-worker who had been conducting a little homework on this. But yeah, thanx for spending time to discuss this topic here on your web page.

  4. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s equally educative and interesting, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that too few people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I found this during my hunt for something concerning this.

  5. After I originally commented I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on whenever a comment is added I receive four emails with the same comment. Is there a way you are able to remove me from that service? Kudos!

  6. I’m impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s both educative and amusing, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The issue is something not enough folks are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I found this during my search for something regarding this.
